For generations, on the Islands, we have made our necessities of the simplest form. Why waste resources? That was all we had! The shortage of trees on the Hebrides meant that boats, often, had to be built from the drift-wood of wrecked vessels, using tools passed from generation to generation. All of my pieces are wholly hand-made on the Island of Lewis using traditional tools of the metal-workers' craft. Within the range of my products, I am prepared to undertake any commission.
